Photography ka Bhoot Sawaar hain!

So I got hold of this nice digital camera. Now equipped with a camera, my hands caught this itching disease that i recurringly suffer from since my childhood. Only the causative factor this time was, my new Nikon Coolpix digital camera. Its got an ok ok decent resolution of 6 MPixel and an optical zoom of 3x. So with a professional spirit and an amateur hand, i started my search for a suitable subject for my photography.

My search started with humans, first of which was my mom and then my sister. With the results not very satisfactory and to my heart's fulfillment, I continued my search, this time excluding humans and trying out a few objects like an orange, an empty glass, a red chilli, a cauliflower, a diya, a pooja bell, a soft toy and a cup of tea!

And to my surprise, my experience with non-living objects was more exciting than with humans! So here I was clicking away my time capturing a lot of things, including our dining table! Then one day a beautiful Marigold flower emerged from a bud in the plant in our gallery. This time I really got fascinated by its beauty. I immediately took out my camera and snapped a few pictures. When I transfered them to my computer and saw the enlarged view, I was exhilarated and continued my obsession with flowers. Forgetting all about the non-living objects, I immersed myself in the beauty of nature and found my self in great pleasure!
And the obsession still continues! here's a glimpse of what I have snapped.....

Yeah. Even my mom liked this one. And mind you, there's no trickery here. The lighting effects are genuine and not manipulated!

A Marigold Flower in full bloom in my window!

I dunno why I snapped this one, but i like it!!! hehehe!

This is a close shot of tiny spider on a bud! The spider just wouldn't remain still! I'd to wait a long time 2 capture this one!

The same spider, this time on a dried twig!

Again, thats a real closeup. The flower's only 2.5cm in diameter!

A Diya borrowed from Gods themselves! hehehe!

So you guys can also take a look at my Web album on picassa. Just click here for all these and more pics from my camera!

If you guys got any feedback to give, PLEASE lemme know! Raka is hungry for Tareef and even more for Galiyaan!!! hehehe!!!

Hey Dude

If you had to start shooting non-living things, could have started with yourself......

Hey the pics are unbelievably Crappy. always suspected you had tremendous potential for crap, but you exceed all my expectations each and every time. This is undoubtedly a new high for you in terms of dishing out crap. Its kinda a new world record of sorts.

Hey seriously, didnt know you had the photography ka kidaa in you.... the pics are good. Hey i too have a digital camera at my place, but was never too interested in shootin with it, never even brought it to college. Maybe i can take a cue from your book and shoot some crappier pics myself, and whats more, i can put it on the blog and make everyone suffer..... sounds like fun...

That would be nice repayment to all the folks who had troubled me and whom i wanted to get back at, but never knew how to go about it. You are at the top of the list by the way..... LOL..... now I know how….

Hey this knida low grade stuff deserves to be on the cover of our college magazine.

Hahaha the pics are GOOD……… hahaha……
