Tunnu Munnu Bunnu!

heheheh! the other day my aunt (mami) had dropped in with her kids (and my cousins), Rinky (6) and Riya (2). Now people who know me will agree that im one pakau insaan who always sits in a corner and just dozes away into oblivion whenever i have time (read whole day). But people, there's one aspect to my life which most of you don’t know and that is my love for kids. I love to play with kids.

Ok. thats Riya alright. Cute na? heheheh. So with Riya around, the kid in me suddenly jumped out and started prancing around! Here i was teaching Riya things like being a Bakri. I taught her to nod her head and do meh meh like a Bakri. Then i taught her how to make faces like a monkey. Then i made her curl her lips to look like a popat's beak. thus i was turning the innocent kid into some really funny creatures. Bechari bacchi didn’t even know that we were all laughing AT HER!! She was running all around the place and showing everyone the tricks that i taught her! and innocence is so contagious!! her frolicking around was having such an effect on me that i actually did some really kiddish tricks with my mom and sister too! i became a kid for one day in my own right! suddenly mujhe sab par bahot pyaar aane laga. especially my mom, sis and riya. i was calling cute names like chonu monu, tunnu bunnu, golu molu, and stuff like that! then i brought a huge plastic ball for Riya and played with her. My tricks included: hitting her with that ball. throwing my sister's dupatta over tiny Riya and watching her struggling to get out of that sudden attack! & then the cute look of confusion over her face after she'd got out was hilarious! i chased the kid whole day, crawling under the dining table, bed, chairs, in bathroom and found myself to be too large to fit under the chairs. but i managed to fit under the dining table! LOL!! then i couldn’t resist myself from teaching Riya the deadly trick of winking!! And my mom was enraged that i taught her how to wink! As much I taught her, Riya couldn’t wink with one eye. So she was winking both eyes and showing it to everybody! My mom asked Riya (more or less sure who the culprit was) who taught her to wink and to my horror, all her fingers pointed in my direction. My mom gave me such a scolding which i remember i used to get when i was a kid myself!! But you know what? Ii enjoyed that scolding too! It was a long time since i was getting scolded for being naughty! LOL!!

It was only when aunty had gone back with Rinky and Riya that i felt what we adults were missing! i couldn’t but stop and think that night, how my life had progressed from been a very naughty kid to been a dumb student to finally been a dumber adult!! I wonder if man really becomes wiser with age! Coz with age, i find man getting more and more cunning and vile! And undoubtedly unhappier! Being with kids, I’ve found is a very good mental stimulation towards happiness and peace of mind!

Bacche Bhagwan Ka Roop Hote Hain........ Solah Aane Sach Baat Hain!

Hey dude I love kids too. They are so cute and everything they do is so funny.

Was reminded of Jagjit Singh's song.... Yeh Daulat Bhi Le Lo....

Really as man grows old he is ridden with sorrow and unhappiness. When we were kids we had no problems at all. But then all good things do come to an end. We all grow up. And face innumerable obstacles, but we try to overcome them.

We will never be kids again.

Sad But True....
